To raise funds for our Lila Radway Scholorship fund in a family-friendly environment, to provide entertainment for our current, prospective and alumni families, and to utilize the amazing exhibits at the Impression 5 Science Center.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for the evening, achieved via ticket sales, auction and corporate/family sponsorships.
We welcome each family to attend the event, as well as invite friends and family. Children of all ages are welcome. Also, if feasible, we encourage family sponsorship of the event to support our Lila Radway Scholorship fund.
A silent auction allows participants to "bid" on items anonymously throughout the evening using a "bidder number". You may increase your bid as often as you like.
There will be a "bidder sheet" next to each item to enter your bid. At the end of the evening, we will tally your winning items and "check out" each participant. You may pay by cash, credit card or check.
On each item, there is a minimum bid specified. You may raise the bid in increments of $5.00
At this time, we are still confirming the agenda for the evening.
Unlike a silent auction, a live auction allows participants to actively and openly bid using a paddle to designate your increased bid. This is a fun, competitive and exciting aspect of the evening.
If you register by February 24th, tickets are $40 per person. After that time, tickets are $50.00 per person. Children under 16 are free.
We encourage you to invite family and friends to the event. Guests do not have to be affiliated directly to Montessori Radmoor School; however, they do need to register. The museum contains amazing exhibits, appropriate for all ages. Current and alumni families will be attending, as well as current and previous staff.
Please click the "Tickets" page to purchase tickets on-line or you may pay at the school.
No. The night of the event, we will have a list of all families who pre-paid available at the registration table. Then, you don’t have to remember your ticket!
Yes! Please click on the "Auction" page on this website, where items are available to bid on-line. You can also verbally request any staff member to enter a bid on your behalf the evening of the event.
Ask! Very often, if you are a customer of a business, they would be happy to make some type of donation. If they request a letter explaining the event, please see the Donations and Sponsorship portion of this site.
Our families have a wide variety of interests and our goal is to provide a diverse, family-friendly array of items. Please contact Amy Stephenson if you have a donation in mind but aren't sure. You may also donate an item directly on behalf of your family.
Please leave all donations with Jamie at the front desk, or in Amy's office by elementary. Please leave a note explaining what company/family provided the item.
Your child's teacher will be happy to answer your questions, as will any staff member. You may also e-mail Amy Stephenson at [email protected]
Please see the "Auction" page of this website. We will also provide weekly updates in the school reminders.
