The children have started planning for International Night.  We are South America this year and have been brainstorming how we want to decorate the class with the children.  We have started to discuss different areas in South America that we may want to recreate in our environment.  The children were very excited to discuss the rainforest and Amazon River.  The older children have begun researching animals that live in the Amazon and are enjoying writing about them.  They then will get to create the animals and decorate the class with them. They are very excited to transform the classroom.  We are always looking for volunteers to help with planning or decorating.  If you are interested just let me know!

We have also been working on our auction project. Each child has had an opportunity to help create our project.  They are painting CDs for our sun catcher.  The children have been very eager to have a turn.

The children have also been working in the greenhouse with Ms. Jamie and Ms. Rose.  They are starting to plant seeds and getting the green house ready for more spring planting!
