Montessori Radmoor

Welcome to the new school year. Choo, Sue and I are excited to begin again. I love new beginnings and that is exactly what each new year brings. It’s so much fun to welcome back our returning students and see how much they’ve grown over the summer. I also look forward to our new students becoming a part of our community.

As we all adjust to this new beginning, there are some things you can do at home to support us and your children here at school.

Toddlers thrive on consistency. Maintaining a solid and predictable routine around bedtime the night before school helps to assure your toddler is rested and ready to take on the next day. Also arriving to school consistently between 8:45 and 9:00 every day is helpful. Getting into the habit of allowing your child to walk with you from the car into the school building allows for that much wanted independence in your toddler. Carrying a small backpack to and from school makes it easier for your child to bring items to school (extra clothes, mittens etc .) and makes it easier for us to send things home. One final thing you can do to support us is making it a habit to check your family mailbox. Both the office and I use your mailbox to communicate and pass information to you. Thanks! I am looking forward to an amazing year.

Sincerely,

Erin
