Our programs run on a Full Montessori 3-year Cycle:

The Montessori Toddler Program is for children around 18 months old (and who are steady on their feet) through the age of 3 years. Children will be admitted to the program up to 29 months of age. After that it is advisable to wait until they are old enough for entry into the Primary classroom.

The Montessori Primary Program is a three-year program designed for children ages 3 to 6.  Children can enter when they are at least 2 years and 9 months old and are using the bathroom independently.  Those children who begin prior to age 3 may require a fourth year in the Primary classroom.  Completing Kindergarten year (the last year in the Primary Montessori cycle) is required when considering enrolling in the Primary community.

The Montessori Elementary Program is designed for children with previous Montessori experience. When considering an elementary student new to the Montessori method, the child will visit and the Elementary Teacher will assess academic skills and readiness for the independence and responsibility of working in a Montessori Elementary Classroom.  Lower Elementary full Montessori cycle is grades 1 through 3 (or ages 6-9). Upper Elementary Full Montessori cycle is grades 4 through 6 (or ages 6-12).

The Montessori Middle School Program is a two year full cycle program for Grades 7 & 8.  When considering a middle school student new to the Montessori method, the student will shadow during the school day, submit an essay of interest and two letters recommendations.  Radmoor Middle School is committed to fostering a learning environment that supports independence, responsibility, and meaningful engagement. Because our program is uniquely designed to meet the developmental needs of adolescents through a Montessori lens, we take great care to ensure that each applicant is a strong fit for our community and educational approach.

Enrollment is for a minimum of One Full Montessori cycle.
