Summer School
Summer School is an optional program that is available to our current families. We offer Toddler and Primary Summer School as well as Elementary camps.
Ages: 18 months – 3 years
Half day and Full day program – the toddlers enjoy this time in the Montessori environment as they continue to demonstrate their independence, explore and manipulate materials, as they are provided with numerous opportunities to practice their “life” skills. The staff utilizes the fenced-in area off the toddler community as an extended classroom for art, water, and practical life activities such as gardening, and more. Art materials are always available, and frequently there will be special art projects. Besides the daily fruit or vegetable tasting, there is regular food preparation activity. The toddlers also go on a variety of field trips, such as the MSU children’s garden, the zoo, berry picking & horse farm.

Summer School is available only to students enrolled at Radmoor during the school year.
Ages: 3 – 6 years
Half day and Full day program – children will be provided the opportunity to continue their work in the Montessori primary community with a trained Montessori Guide. Sessions will be held in the Montessori primary classroom that consists of practical life, sensorial, language, math, art, music with the bells and the science materials. During the summer, the outside environment is utilized for gardening, nature study, extending botany and zoology to the outdoors, and using the greenhouse for smelling and tasting activities. The children continue to develop their self-direction as they choose from a rich environment of hands on materials.

Summer school enrollment is available in March. Spots are filled on a first come, first serve basis and typically fill up quickly.
