Band Instrument Introduction

We’re thrilled to welcome back MSU student Cameron Storey, who is pursuing her master’s degree in Music Theory. Cameron will continue to lead students as they develop their musical skills, confidence, and enjoyment of playing an instrument.
We will kick off the year with a Band Instrument Introduction on Wednesday, Sept. 2, during the school day (students only). Students will have the opportunity to see, hold, and explore a variety of band instruments up close, hear demonstrations, and ask questions.
This hands-on experience is a fun way to spark curiosity and help students feel confident as they consider which instrument might be the right fit for them. Students who participated in Band last year are also encouraged to join us for Year Two as they continue building their skills and growing as musicians.
The Band program begins Sept. 9, meeting Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30–5:15 p.m. at the main campus.
