Lower Elementary Field Trip

On Monday, April 20th, our class will take our annual trip to the Okemos Public Library. We will walk to the library and have a guided tour from a librarian. We will also have time browse their selection. Students will learn how to use the catalog system and have a chance to find materials to support their international night research, and browse for pleasure. Around noon we will have a brown bag picnic behind the library before walking back.
If your child has an Okemos Library card or a Youth One card, they may bring it to check out books. Attached is an application for a Youth One card that your child can use to check out a book at the library. Please send me the Youth One application before Friday, April 17th, to give the library time to process it.
