The Ferris Wing at Montessori Radmoor School, a project representing the largest expansion since 2003, has opened its doors. The wing includes three new classrooms, a student kitchen, student bathrooms, an expanded library space, and dedicated areas for nap and after-school time. Though Jake and Maxine Ferris, whose legacy inspired the project, passed away before its completion, their impact on the school and love for Montessori education were celebrated during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The Ferris family’s commitment to the school’s future is evident, with their sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren in attendance. The Ferris Wing is set to provide ample space for learning and growth, carrying forward the Ferris family’s dedication to education.
