Although it does not feel like it, March is here. March is a very busy month for us, there is the camp sleepover on March 7th, the Book fair from March 10-14th, Elementary pot luck on the 12th, and conferences on the 13th and 14th. We also have a bagel breakfast on March 21st.
At the last few bagel breakfasts, we have been very short of adult help. We desperately need volunteers. Additionally, we will need someone to take over as a guide for the bagel breakfasts for the next school year. The children learn so many skills, such as: planning, organizing, customer service and handling money, to name just a few.
The children and I have been discussing the project that we would like to do for the silent auction that will be held on International Night. They have decided that they would like to do a mosaic that follows the theme of Alexandria and the scroll that we have been translating, in class, for Latin.
I am hoping that we will be having full weeks of school without snow days for the rest of the year! I am sure you do too!
Thank You!
Christine
