Montessori Radmoor

Dear Parents,

First of all, I would like to thank you for the kind words and condolences given to me in the past week.  I am so thankful to work in a community that puts family first. I was able to be with my grandmother her last few days.

The children had a wonderful time at camp. Again, thank you goes to Melinda Schultz, who substituted for me, and Miss Susie and Michelle Munson for filling in Wednesday through Friday. The children told me that they had a lot of fun and learned a lot. It will be interesting to see the progress of their dune restoration project in the spring when we return for a week.

On November 6th, we will be having our Harvest Festival.  Please sign up to volunteer to help cook or help with the many creative activities that we will be doing during that day.

Also, I will be out of the classroom to go to a conference on November 7th and 8th. I will be gone for the whole weekend taking part in a Montessori workshop entitled “The Keepers of Alexandria”.

We are reaching that time of year when we get quite busy with many different activities. I will keep you posted as they come up. I foresee many blog posts in the next few weeks! Thank you all again! Christine
