Montessori Radmoor

Wow! What a great time we had at camp! I would like to thank each and every one of you for the extra help and support with the preparation before camp and during camp, as well. The children had a unique opportunity to build unity, self-confidence, and team building skills.

Looking at the weeks to come students are busy with International Night projects and reports. They are all so excited to share their hard work with everyone on Friday. Third years are prepping for biographies and 1st and 2nd year students are beginning to plan for 3rd and 6th year lunch-in.

Upcoming events include:

May 20th – Pot luck and Art Show beginning at 5:30 p.m.  Please bring a dish to pass.

May 28th – Music Program.  Students should arrive at 6:45 p.m. and we will begin at 7:00 p.m.

May 29th – We would like to say thank you to all of our parents for their amazing support of the school community and classrooms.   Please stop by the gym after drop off or at the end of the day.

June 4th – Third and Sixth years luncheon.  You will be receiving a personalized invitation with important details.  The Passages ceremony for the 6th years will take place that afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

June 5th  – The 5th is the last day of school. It is also Biography day! 3rd through 6th year students write a monologue on a person of their interest. They wear a costume that they have made. The costume may be put together at home. The Salvation Army, Goodwill and other area second hand stress are great places to look for items that they might want as part of their costume.

The children are also working on completing mileage cards to receive toe tags. Spirit week is just around the corner so prepare for an interesting last week of school!

Stay well,

Danielle
