Well hopefully spring is just around the corner. With it come a few things to keep in mind. Please go to iVolunteer website and sign up for a conference time on March 10 or 11th. If none of the times listed work for you, please let me know and we can come up with another time that fits your schedule. In addition, even if the weather seems to be getting warmer, please continue to send your winter snow gear (hats, mittens, boots, and snow pants). Our playground can remain pretty wet/cold for a while, so it’s very helpful to continue sending these items. That being said, one of my favorite days is the first day we can go outside without coats!
Thanks to everyone for continuing to send shoe boxes to us. If you have more, please keep sending them. They are going to be used for a special project in the toddler community for International Night. For those of you who are new to our school, International Night is a really fun evening. Each of the classrooms in the school is transformed into a different continent. For the first time ever, the toddler room will be transformed into Antarctica! International Night, which is held on Friday, May 13th, is a lot of fun for the whole family. I highly recommend you plan on attending!
Please keep an eye out for our 2016 toddler picture album. This is a collection of photos we’ve taken over the course of the school year showing the different work that goes on in the toddler community. Each toddler will have the opportunity to take the photo album home to share with their family for a few days, before returning it to share with another toddler family.
Thanks again for reading. Be sure to look for next month’s blog where I will share some strategies that I have found helpful for helping to diffuse toddler tantrums!
